Sweet & Spicy Delight: Honey Chilli Paneer Recipe

Ingredients:

 

    • 2 tsp Canistel raw honey

    • 1 tbsp red chilli flakes

    • 250 gms paneer

    • 4 tbsp Canistel wood pressed Black mustard oil

    • 2 medium onions

    • 2 medium green capsicums

    • Salt to taste

    • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

    • 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce

    • 3 tbsp cornflour

    • 2 tsp vinegar

    • ½ cup water

Recipe:

 

    1. Heat a sizzler plate.

    1. Cut the capsicums into thick strips and onions into thick slices.

    1. Cut paneer into rectangles.

    1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan.

    1. Add onions, capsicums, and salt to the pan. Saute for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove to a bowl.

    1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in the same pan. Add ginger-garlic paste and saute.

    1. Add sweet chilli sauce, chilli paste, and salt.

    1. Add water and mix well.

    1. Add cornflour and cook till the sauce thickens slightly.

    1. Add paneer pieces to the pan and mix gently.

    1. Then, add chilli flakes, 1 tbsp honey, vinegar, and salt. Mix well.

    1. Place the sizzler plate on a wooden serving board.

    1. Spread the capsicum-onion mixture on the plate.

    1. Top with Honey Chilli Paneer.

    1. Drizzle remaining honey over it and serve immediately.
