Ingredients:

  • 500 grams mutton with bones (preferably fresh and tender)

  • 3 tablespoons A2 Gir Desi Ghee

  • 2 medium onions, thinly sliced

  • 1 cup curd, whisked smooth

  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste

  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder

  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder (adjust to taste)

  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder

  • 1 teaspoon garam masala

  • Salt as per taste

  • Whole spices – 1 bay leaf, 1 small cinnamon stick, 2 green cardamoms, 3–4 cloves

Instructions:

Heat desi ghee in a heavy-bottomed kadhai. Add whole spices. Once the spices release their aroma, toss in sliced onions and saute till golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste, stir and cook for a couple of minutes. Add mutton pieces and fry them well on high heat. Add red chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder and salt. Lower the flame and add curd. Mis thoroughly. Cook till the oil starts separating. Add water, cover and cook on low flame for 45-50 minutes till the mutton is tender. Finish with garam masala and coriander leaves. Serve this Eid special dish as a royal treat.

2. Eid Seviyan Recipe: Sheer Khurma in Raw Unprocessed Honey & A2 Gir Desi Ghee  

Sheer Khurma is a must-have Eid seviyan recipe. It is made with vermicelli, milk, dry fruits and sweeteners. Our healthy Eid recipe replaces sugar with raw unprocessed honey.

Ingredients:

  • 1 litre full cream milk

  • 2 tablespoons desi ghee

  • 1 cup fine vermicelli (seviyan)

  • ½ cup chopped soft dates (preferably seedless)

  • ¼ cup mixed dry fruits (almonds, cashews, pistachios – roughly chopped)

  • 3 tablespoons raw unprocessed honey

  • ½ teaspoon cardamom powder (elaichi)

Instructions:

Heat A2 desi ghee in a pan. Add the vermicelli and roast till golden. Add chopped dry fruits and dates. Stir well. Pour the full cream milk and cook on low flame for 10-12 minutes with intermittent stirring. Add cardamom powder and continue to cook until the milk thickens slightly. Remove from heat and allow to cool a bit. Add raw honey as a sweetener and your easy Eid special food is ready.

3. Healthy Eid Food: Nutty Peanut Butter Stuffed Dates in Classic Peanut Butter & Raw Honey

This high-protein snack is one of the healthy and easy Eid recipes you can prepare in minutes with healthy organic peanut butter and dates.

Ingredients:

  • 10 soft Medjool dates (seedless or seeds removed gently)

  • 4 to 5 tablespoons of peanut butter 

  • 2 tablespoons of raw unprocessed honey

  • 10 roasted almonds, walnuts or pistachios (choose your favourite for stuffing)

  • 1 tablespoon desiccated coconut (for garnish)

Instructions:

If the dates have seeds, slit them lengthwise and remove the seeds without breaking the flesh. Take half a spoon of peanut butter and fill it into each date. You can use a piping bag or spoon. 4. Eid Mubarak Food: Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani in Natural Wood-Pressed Oil 

The classic dish on every Eid festival food menu. Hyderabadi chicken biriyani known for its flavours and aroma becomes even more better with our healthy Eid recipe when cooked in kachi ghani oil.

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams of chicken marinated in curd, ginger-garlic paste and basic spices like turmeric, red chilli, salt and garam masala

  • 2 cups basmati rice 

  • 3 tablespoons natural wood-pressed oil

  • A handful of crispy fried onions 

  • Whole spices – bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, star anise

  • A few tablespoons of saffron milk (a pinch of saffron soaked in warm milk)

  • Fresh mint and coriander leaves roughly chopped

Instructions:

Cook basmati rice until it is about 70% done and drain. In a thick-bottomed vessel, heat kachi gani oil and layer the marinated chicken at the bottom. Add a layer of rice on top and then sprinkle fried onions, mint, coriander leaves and saffron milk. Seal the lid using wheat dough and cook on a low flame (dum) for 30-40 minutes. Open the lid for the Eid special food.

5. Eid Festival Food: Honey & Peanut Butter Baklava in Raw Honey

  • 10 filo pastry sheets thawed and kept covered with a damp cloth to prevent drying

  • 2 tablespoons desi ghee melted

Instructions:

For this healthy Eid recipe, preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius. Prepare nut filling by mixing the chopped nuts with peanut butter in a bowl. Grease a baking tray with desi ghee.  Place the first sheet of filo pastry on the tray and brush lightly with ghee. Layer 4 more sheets similarly. Spread peanut butter over the layered sheets, then again add 3-4 layers of pastry sheets the same way. Add the remaining mixture on top of the sheets and add a few more layers. Gently cut the baklava into small square shapes and bake for 25-30 minutes until the top turns crisp and golden brown. Drizzle raw honey and serve this Eid special dish once it cools.

6. Easy Eid Recipe: Mango & Honey Lassi with Raw Unprocessed Honey

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh mango pulp (preferably from ripe Alphonso or Kesar mangoes)

  • 1 cup thick chilled curd

  • 300 grams minced mutton finely ground

  • 1 tablespoon roasted gram flour (besan)

  • 1 to 1½ teaspoons Galouti masala

Instructions:

Mix minced mutton with roasted gram flour, raw papaya paste, galouti masala and salt. Cover and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Then take small portions and shape them into flat round patties. Heat wood-pressed oil in a heavy-bottomed pan or tawa. Shallow fry the kebabs on medium flame. Cook both sides until they are golden brown. Serve hot with mint chutney and sliced onions.

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams mutton with bone, preferably shank or marrow cuts

  • 4 tablespoons A2 Sahiwal desi ghee

  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced

  • 1 tablespoon wheat flour 

  • 2–3 teaspoons Nihari masala 

  • Ginger julienne cut for garnish

  • Salt as required

  • Water as required

Instructions:

Hear desi ghee in a deep-bottomed pan or handi. Add sliced onions and fry until golden brown. Add mutton pieces and cook on high flame until the meat changes colour. Add nihari masala and cook for a few more minutes. Mix wheat flour with water to make a paste and add it to the pan to thicken the gravy. Add water to cover the mutton. Add salt and cover and cook on low flame for 2-3 hours. Garnish with ginger juliennes to add to Eid ul Fitr food festivities.

9. Eid Pakwan Recipe: Malpua with Honey Drizzle with Raw Beri Honey

  • 1 cup flour (maida)

In a bowl mix flour, semolina, fennel seeds and milk. Add water gradually and make a smooth batter that is lightly thick. Rest it for 30 minutes. Heat desi ghee in a flat pan and pour batter to form a round malpua. Cook on medium heat until both sides are golden and crisp. Repeat for remaining batter. Drizzle raw honey all over malpua and serve immediately.
